At this time, I want to thank God for the vision and for the purpose of organizing The Warriors in the Spirit, affectionately known as the Peake Family. Their voices and the voice range of my children on the diatonic scale has created a unique sound among my daughters and granddaughters as they sing praised unto God as a family group.
The Warriors in the Spirit started out from our home with our first debut at the Corinth Baptist Church on their annual Family and Friends Day Program. Since then, we have had the privilege of singing on the Word Network Channel, the 2007 Spirit Fest and so many churches in the surrounding counties. Our ministry of singing has touched the lives of so many people and has helped others to reclaim their lives from a dying world.
Today as we are "Still Standing" in spite of the snares of the enemy and after surviving COVID 19; we are gathered today in humble submission that God has kept us, and He has truly been on our side. Today is a day of thanksgiving and we've come to magnify Him in praise and in a dance. We solicit your continued support and prayers as we continue to sing His praises so that people might be saved through our singing. It's our plea that God will give us grace to "Fight On" as Warriors in the Spirit. God made it Fail. Everything that the devil has tried, God made it Fail. Yes, He made it Fail.
Lastly, we give special recognition to Elder Rossi Hames who has shown his love to us, a spiritual advisor and has helped us to be all that we can be in our ministry. We would also like to thank: Winfred Copeland, Jamie Jeter, Jarod Dawkins, Marcus Gist, Josiah Ferguson-Means and the late Stephen Jennings for being a great asset to our ministry as well. You fellas are great musicians who we love so dearly.
